Augmented Turntable is a hybrid system consisting of a turntable and a Max / MSP patch. In the postmodern digital prism, the usability of the turntable is turned upside down and the object is transformed from aν obsolete collector's item into an improviser's tool. Using used records that I have found in bazaars and junk shops, the plastic remnants of the last century are transformed into sound colors, rhythms and noises.

Stylianos Ou is an obscure one man ensemble that divides genres and collide them together again in mispleasing positions. In this grotesque sound terrain you will find an archaeological noisy chimaira which contains liquids from Omonoia square, Greek souvlaki, Norwegian black metal screamobeats and Captain Beefheart’s toxic ghost tenor dead bravado induced in a live electronics pseudochoir that had been gathered together after an accidental music store heist.
"Krypton Asty" is his first album.  
Stelios Papagrigoriou (aka Stylianos Ou) lives and works in Athens. He is a writer, visual and sound artist.
Co-founder of the noise post art group Hand & Leg.
His paintings and sculptures have been featured on the covers of his albums released by Slovenly, Fourth Dimension and Agios Anthropos.
